Thank You, Sarah Palin

With Thanksgiving tomorrow, I just wanted to express my own thanks to the woman who has made the past few months exciting. Here is why I’m thanking Sarah Palin this year:

Thank you for bringing attention to our state.

(Too bad it is mostly negative.)

Thank you for keeping us laughing.

(I hope you realize that people are laughing AT you, not with you.)

Thank you for running for vice-president.

(Now we know just what kind of person you are.)

Thank you for never shutting up.

(Your logorrhoea is showing.)

Thank you for continuing to show up in the news.

(Even the Republicans will be sick of you soon.)

Thank you for causing people all over the world to detest you so much that they were driven to the wonderful community called Mudflats.

Thank you for showing us what a true American family looks like.

(or rather a dysfunctional American Family)

Thank you for driving the McCain campaign off of a cliff.

Please feel free to add your own in the comments. If they are good, I’ll add them to the post.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Oh, and Sarah:

Oh, Sarah. Notsomuch a fiscal conservative, now are we?

It’s weird, but I felt almost giddy while filling it in. I just had to take a picture of it, for posterity. I know, I’m a dork, but there it is.

Oh, and Poor Joe. Always in the crease.
