Another Palin Lie?

The Anchorage Daily News is reporting the following:

“Last Friday, (investigator) Branchflower said a former employee of Harbor Adjustment Service, Johanna Grasso, contacted a tip line. Grasso testified under oath regarding a conversation she had with Wilkes about a worker’s compensation claim from Wooten.

Wooten is the governor’s former brother in law, who went through a bitter divorce with governor Palin’s sister.

At the hearing, Branchflower read from Grasso’s testimony.

Grasso wrote, “Well I remember at one point in the conversation she had mentioned or said something to the effect that either the governor or the governor’s office wanted this claim denied and I remember my response being, why? I don’t care if it’s the president that wants the claim denied I’m not going to deny it unless I have the medical evidence to do that.” (Emphasis mine)

I say GOOD FOR YOU, Johanna Grasso. We need more people to stand up for what’s right. We need more people in the know to put the people of Alaska and the United States above the Governor and above themselves. Let’s hope more people will do what’s right and not bow under the pressure from McCain/Palin. To quote George Orwell, “In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act.“ (Thanks to Shannyn Moore for this quote. Disturbingly accurate, I’m afraid.)
