I, admittedly, do not love zombie movies. After seeing Fido, however, I might be starting to change my mind.

Fido is a zombie who lives in the town of Willard in the 1950’s. Many zombies live and work in Willard due to space dust that settled over the town and made the dead come alive. After the zombie wars, the town has learned to live with this unsettling problem. Zomcon, a corporation created to control and put zombies to work, has the people of Willard feeling safe again.

Fido lives with Timmy Robinson and his family, but Timmy treats Fido more like a pet (and eventually a father) than a zombie. This, obviously, creates friction in the family. ‘Nuff said.

You must see this movie. It is frickin’ hilarious. I loved it.

One of my favorite quotes from the movie: Carrie-Anne Moss talking to her on-screen husband says, “Just because your father tried to eat you…does that mean we all have to be unhappy? Forever?”
